In recent years, different views have been put forward around the risk factors of neonatal sepsis. In addition to preterm birth and low birth weight, vitamin D deficiency is also considered as one of the risk factors for early and late onset sepsis. Premature rupture of membranes and chorionic amnitis, previously considered as risk factors for early sepsis, have also been disputed at present. This article reviews the progress of the above factors and the irrational use of antibiotics, invasive procedures and parenteral nutrition, which lead to late-onset sepsis, as well as other influencing factors, with the aim of providing measures for the prevention of neonatal sepsis. %U https://manu41.magtech.com.cn/Jwk_zgetbjzz/EN/10.11852/zgetbjzz2020-1902
