Methods Literature searches were conducted in PubMed, EBSCO, Cochrane Library, SpringerLink, Vip, Wan-fang and China National Knowledge Internet (CNKI) database. Only randomized controlled trails were included, and the quality of the literature was evaluated. Results A total of 7 studies with 181 ASD samples were included. Seven articles all studied the effects of GFCF diets on core symptoms of ASD, five articles showed that the GFCF diets could not improve the core symptoms of ASD. Two articles studied the effects of GFCF diets on gastrointestinal symptoms of ASD, but neither of them showed that GFCF diets could improve the gastrointestinal symptoms of ASD. Conclusion GFCF diets could not improve the core symptoms and gastrointestinal symptoms of ASDchildren. %U https://manu41.magtech.com.cn/Jwk_zgetbjzz/EN/10.11852/zgetbjzz2021-0249
