    Comparison and analysis of clinical characteristics between in vitro fertilization twins and natural pregnancy twins.

    Objective To explore the differences of clinical characteristics between in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer (IVF-ET) twins and natural pregnancy twins,and provide guidance for clinical management of IVF-ET twins. Methods Totally 172 pairs of twins after IVF-ET and 476 pairs of natural pregnancy twins were selected as the research objects,the data about their gender,maternal age,birth length,birth weight,premature,gestational age,neonatal complications,NICU admission rate,neonatal mortality and morbidity were collected,and the differences between the two groups were compared. Results The average maternal age,the twin birth weight discordance,the birth weight discordance rate,neonatal hypoglycemia/hyperglycemia,neonatal infection,neonatal heart related disease,respiratory disease of IVF-ET twins were higher than those of the natural pregnancy group(P<0.05).The gestational age of the IVF-ET group was less than the natural pregnancy group(P<0.05). Conclusion Postoperative IVF-ET newborn monitoring should be strengthened.We should pay attention to the occurrence of neonatal blood glucose abnormalities,neonatal infection,neonatal heart related diseases and respiratory disease,and try to focus on aforementioned symptoms at early stage actively so as to prevent undesirable outcomes.

    Objective To investigate the status of newborn's birthweight in 10 years,analyze the influencing factors,and provide scientific basis for the health care of women and children in our country. Methods The information of neonates were collected in one hospital of Hubei province during the period of January 2005- December 2014,and the data of all 88 474 live births were analyzed. Results The mean birth weight of 88 474 neonates was (3 242.60±532.86)g.The main factors affected the birth weight of neonate were gestational age,followed by the number of fetuses,gender,maternal education,mother's age,residence type,and parity. Conclusion The neonatal birth weight is affected by many factors.Appropriate interventional measures should be adopted to improve the quality of the population in China.

    Objective To explore whether anemia in pregnancy can change the outcome of pregnancy and increase the probability of anemia in infants and hinder the normal growth and development of infants. Methods Data of anemia during pregnancy and birth outcomes were obtained with a questionnaire.Length,weight and hemoglobin of infants and toddlers at 6,12 and 24 months were measured,and the relationship between maternal anemia and infants and toddlers' health was studied. Results The total prevalence of anemia during pregnancy was 18.9%,the rate of delivery by vagina was 57.7%,and the prevalence for preterm,low birth weight and macrosomia were 5.5%,4.2% and 9.2%,respectively.The highest rate of anemia among infants was 8.2% at 6 months,then it decreased with age,the nutrition status of infants and toddlers were good,with the rate of thin,stunting,underweight and overweight lower than 1%.No significant differences were found on birth weight,birth length,gestational age and delivery mode (P>0.05),as well as anemia and growth of infants and toddlers at 6,12 and 24 months between anemia group and non-anemia group during pregnancy (P>0.05). Conclusion No relationship was found between maternal anemia and birth outcomes,anemia and growth of infants and toddlers.

    Objective To analyse the present situation and the influencing factors that affect it of the children's self-care ability. Method Self-compiled questionnaire (Children's Living Self-Care Ability Questionnaire-Parent Version) and 《Parenting Style Questionnaire》 were administered on 400 parents of young children. Results 3~6 years old children's self-care ability was in the medium level overall,there was uneven development in infants' self-care ability in various dimensions.Out of these dimensions,the children had good control of dressing up,other dimensions showed poor performances.There were significant differences in the children's demographic variables like sex,only child factor,place of birth and so on.Factors of grades,school type,parents and parenting styles also influenced children's self-care ability significantly. Conclusion Self-care ability should be gradual according to children's age and development characteristics,children should be allowed to experience operational processes,have fun using their hands; at the same time,increase the time spent by parents to accompany the children and coupled with cooperation with school to promote the development of children's self-care ability.

    Objective To explore the diagnostic value of ultrasound in neonatal brain injury. Methods Totally 80 cases with perinatal asphyxia history,were selected from May 2013 to August 2015 in our pediatric hospital,prenatal ultrasound had excluded intracranial congenital structural abnormalities,cranial ultrasound was conducted at 72 h of birth,to detecte cerebral artery and middle cerebral artery blood flow dynamics from the temporal anterior fontanelle,the main parameters were peak systolic velocity (Vs),diastolic velocity (Vd) and resistance index (RI).At the end of 24 hours,head MRI was used as the gold standard to compare with the ultrasound results. Results 80 cases of children were prompted MRI brain injury,showed multifocal distribution.62 cases of ultrasound showed varying degrees of brain damage,the positive rate was 77.5%. Conclusions Early ultrasound of neonatal cranial can detect structural and hemodynamic changes in cerebral tissue,provide important information for clinical diagnosis.

    Objective To investigate the gene mutation status in children with hearing impairment,and to identify the feasibility of gene screening for deafness. Methods Questionnaire survey of hereditary hearing loss,audiological evaluation and deafness gene detection were conducted in 53 children with dysaudia.DNA was extracted from peripheral venous blood,and 20 mutation sites of deafness of four deafness related genes such as GJB2,SLC26A4,GJB3 and mtDNA12s rRNA was detected. Results Of the 53 children,13 (24.53%,13/53) were detected with mutan tgene.There were 7 cases of GJB2 gene mutation,including 1 cases (1.89%) of 235delC homozygous mutation,5 cases (9.43%) with 235delC heterozygous mutation,1 cases (1.89%) with /299_300delAT 235delC complex heterozygous mutation.There were 6 cases with SLC26A4 gene mutation (11.32%),of which 1 case with IVS7-2A>G homozygous mutation,3 cases with IVS7-2A>G heterozygous mutation (5.66%),1 case with 2168A>G heterozygous mut- ation (1.89%),and 1 case with 2168A>G pure synthetic mutation (1.89%).GJB3 and mitochondrial 12SrRNA gene mutations were not detected. Conclusions In children with hearing impairment,there is a high incidence of hereditary hearing loss.The main mutation genes are GJB2 and SLC26A4.Detection of genetic deafness can be a clear cause of the disease,to guide the rehabilitation of deaf children,and has a positive effect on assessing the prognosis of deafness.

    Objective To compare visiting rates and the scores of early development promotion at home in two different management models for premature infants of post-discharge,and to explore possible associated factors. Methods In four sample counties from Shaanxi and Guangxi provinces in China,416 preterm infants were visited regularly since post-discharge.Management Modle one in Guangxi,the preterm infants with high risk factors were visited by doctors at county level and the others by doctors at township level.Management Modle two in Shaanxi,all preterm infants were visited by doctors at county level.In the 4 counties,visiting intervals and contents were all unified. Results The visiting rates in Modle one was 86.3%,which was higher than that (57.0%) in Modle two (P<0.01);The scores of development promotion at home in Modle one were more than that in Modle two (P<0.01).Binary logistic and ordinal regression analysis showed that when parents as one of care givers (OR=99.491)or preterm infant having disease at birth(OR=1.853),the visiting rates were higher and when parents as one of care givers(P<0.01) or the less family's income(P<0.05),the scores of development promotion at home were more. Conclusions When preterm infants of post-discharge are classried and graded manageed by doctors at different levels,the visiting rates are higher and scores of early development promotion at home are more.The parents of preterm infants should be encouraged to raise their children by themselves.The health education should be improved for caregivers.

    Objective To analyze the association between PM2.5 exposure in early and middle pregnancy and the cognitive-motor development of their offspring,and provide evidence for air pollution protection during pregnancy. Methods Totally 190 pregnant women who built cards and labored in Shanghai First Maternal and Infant Hospital during June 2014 and April 2015 were selected.Questionnaires were filled when they built cards in our hospital,which got the information of residential address,type of housing and floor distribution.The penetration model was used to transform outdoor atmospheric PM2.5 concentration into indoor PM2.5 exposure concentration as PM2.5 exposure level during pregnancy.The cognitive-motor development assessment of infants was conducted during the "42 day physical examination after postpartum" using "Ages and Stages Questionnaires-Third edition,ASQ-3".Two independent sample t-test and multi factor linear regression analysis were used to analyze the correlation between PM2.5 exposure and the cognition-motor development of their offspring. Results During the first trimester of pregnancy,scores of gross motor and fine motor of infants in normal exposure group were higher than those in exceeded exposure group,as well as the total ASQ-3 score.The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).PM2.5 exposure level during the first trimester of pregnancy increased each one unit,the scores of each aspect in ASQ-3 decreased 0.53~0.62 points,the total score of ASQ-3 decreased by 2.0 points.In the second trimester,the PM2.5 exposure's effect was different.Although the PM2.5 exposure's level in the second trimester of pregnancy also showed a tendency of decreasing the ASQ-3 score,however,the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). Conclusions Compared with PM2.5 exposure in the second trimester of pregnancy,the PM2.5 exposure during the first trimester of pregnancy makes a more serious impact on the cognition-motor development of their offspring.So the protection for atmospheric pollution should focus on the early stages of pregnancy.

    Objective To study family upbringing style of grade 4~6 school children,and to analyse their effects on depressive disorder. Methods By random sampling,833 students of grade 4~6 in the central Shaanxi were collected.All subjects were investigated by Family Upbringing Style Questionaire (FUSQ) and Depression Self-rating Scale for Children (DSRS). Results 1)Among parents upbringing styles,there were differences in scores of award-penaltyin different sexes,girls` was higher than boys'(P=0.001).The scores of respect-shame,attention-shield,tolerant-acolasia,discipline-control,expect-exaction were statistically significant(P<0.05)in different grades.There were statistically differences in scores of democracy-dictatorship,attention-shield,tolerant-acolasia,discipline-control and expect-exaction(P<0.05)in different family income.In different culture levels of father,there were statistically differences in scores of democracy-dictatorship,tolerant-acolasia, adiscipline-control,and expect-exaction(P<0.05).2)Differences of depressive disorder existed in different sexes,grades,family economic condition and father culture levels(P<0.05).3) Depressive disorder scores of students from grade 6 were related to respect-shame of parents' upbringing style and attention-shield of mother(r=0.167 6,0.161 8,0.172 6).Negative correlation existed between depressive disorder scores of students in general economic condition and democracy-dictatorship,tolerant-acolasia(r=-0.174 2,-0.104 5),and also existed between depressive disorder scores of students whose fathers' culture were primary school education and university education (r=-0.351 2,-0.241 3). Conclusions The negative family upbringing styles are general in primary school students` families,which is a major exogenous factor lead to depressive disorder.It should be paid much attention for parents.

    Objective To investigate the effect of lipid metabolism disorders in Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats on fetal rat myocardial cell. Methods Pregnant rats were randomly divided into A and B groups,each group had 10 cases.Group A was fed with ordinary feed,and group B with high fat feed,all were fed to pregnancy 21 days respectively.Blood samples were collected to determine blood lipid.Fetal rat's myocardial tissue was taken to observe under light microscope and electron microscope after dealing with. Results At 21 days of pregnancy,compared with group A,total cholesterol (TC) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) of group B rats increased significantly (P=0.000),and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) decreased obviously (P=0.001).Fetal rat's myocardial cell of two groups were observed with HE staining slice under light microscopy,cell structure of group B owes unclear with cell edema,cell nucleus shape was irregular.Fetal rat myocardial tissue ultrastructure observation was indicated:Group B cells organelles were decrease in the number and mitochondria crest fractured. Conclusion High-fat feeding of SD rats exists abnormal lipid metabolism during pregnancy (high cholesterol,high LDL-C and low HDL-C),the fetal rat myocardial cell has damage.

    Objective To investigate the possible mechanism of high mobility group box 1 (HMGB1) involved in the regulation of asthma-related inflammatory cytokines in bronchial epithelial cells. Methods Twenty female mice (BALB/c strain) were randomly divided into control and asthma group.An asthmatic mouse model was established by intraperitoneal injection and aerosol inhalation of ovalbumin.16-HBE cells with different treatments were divided into six groups:control group,HMGB1 group (100 ng/mL,200 ng/mL,500 ng/mL),500 ng/mL HMGB1+AG490 group,500 ng/mL HMGB1+ Rapamycin group.The hematoxylin-eosin staining was used to observe the mice airway structural changes.The mRNA and protein expression of HMGB1 in lung tissue of mice was measured by RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry,respectively.The level of HMGB1 in the supernatants of the BALF and the levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-1α in all cells were measured by ELISA,while the protein expressions of p-JAK2 and p-STAT3 were measured by Western blot. Results Compared with normal control group,the expression of HMGB1 in BALF and in the lung tissue of asthma group were significantly increased.HMGB1 increased the levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-1α,upregulated the protein levels of p-JAK2 and p-STAT3 in a dose-dependent manner.Pretreatment with AG490 and Rapamycin significantly inhibited the expressions of p-JAK2 and p-STAT3,decreased the levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-1α. Conclusion HMGB1 could regulate the inflammatory response in asthma,which may be related to the promotion of asthma-related inflammatory cytokines in bronchial epithelial cells via activating JAK2/STAT3 pathways.

    Objective To explore the effects of core stability training on fine motor function of children with spastic cerebral palsy. Methods 80 cases were divided into two groups,40 cases in each group.All the patients received routine rehabilitation.The observation group received core stability training additionally.Their fine motor function were assessed with PDMS-2 before and after 3 months treatment. Results The scores of standard score for grasp,standard score for visual-motor integration and fine motor quotient in PDMS-2 all improved in both groups after treatment (P<0.05),and the observation group were more effective than the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Core stability training can improve fine motor function of children with spastic cerebral palsy.

    Objective To explore the efficacy of the Levetiracetam treatment of Electrical Status Epilepticusin in Sleep(ESES). Methods Totally 50 cases of epilepsy children with ESES were treated with Levetriacetam add-on therapy (13 cases) and monotherapy (37 cases).The clinical seizures,long-term video EEG and intelligence were observed before and after therapy to analyse the eliminate of the ESES,the controlling of the role of clinical seizures,and the influence of Levetiracetam on the cognition. Results 2 cases were lost to follow-up,48 cases were finished at least 1 year of follow-up.The seizures of 29 patients were completely controlled,8 cases reduced more than 50%,11 cases were invalided.The clinical effective rate was 77.1%,the reduce of more than 75% of Spike Wave Index (SWI) were 14 cases (29.2%),that of more than 50% of SWI were 11 cases(22.9%),the total effective rate was 52.1%.There were no significant difference on the operation ability,verbal ability and total IQ before and after treatment.The effective rate of the treatment of atypical benign epilepsy with central and temporary (ABECT) was 69.6%,significantly higher than other syndromes. Conculsions Levetiracetam is efficient and safety.Long-term treatment of levetiracetam has no cognitive impairment of the children.Levetiracetam is more efficient to patients with ABECT than other epileptic syndrome.

    Objective To explore the clinical value of wide angle digital retinal imaging system (RetCam3) in the screening of neonatal,and follow up analysis of the prognosis of the patients. Method Retrospective analysis of clinical data of neonates with RetCam3 in our hospital from January 2013 to December 2015 in the department of obstetrics and neonatal intensive care unit. Results After screening the 15 750 cases,5 196 cases (32.99%) were identified with fundus lesions,including 4 312 cases with retinal hemorrhage (RH),312 cases with retinal white changes,186 cases with retinal pigmentation,132 cases with class of retinopathy of prematurity in full-term neonates under changes,64 cases with abnormal retinal blood vessels,56 cases with retinopathy of prematurity (ROP),40 cases with choroidal defect,27 cases with retinal jaundice,17 cases with optic nerve dysplasia,14 cases with vitreous hemorrhage,12 cases with persistent hyperplastic primary vitreous (PHPV),10 cases with preretinal hemorrhage,6 cases with macular defects,4 cases with albinotic fundus,PHPV1 cases with morning glory syndrome,1 case with retinoblastoma (RB),1 case with incontinentia pigmenti (IP),1 case with advanced cup/disc ratio. Conclusion The wide angle digital retinal imaging system can be used to discover the ocular fundus diseases of newborn in time,and provide the basis for clinical real-time and effective guidance and intervention.

    Objective To compare the cognitive of preterm infants (corrected gestational age) and full-term infants in first week with event related potential (ERP),and to explore the cognitive characteristics of preterm infants. Methods 30 healthy full-term infants (1~7 days) and 15 premature infants (corrected age of 1~7 days) were randomly selected.The auditory event related potential (aERP) was recorded with auditory oddball paradigm,and P2 and N2 wave area on the Fz,Cz lead of the two groups were compared. Results 1)Fz lead,there were significant differences of the P2 and N2 wave area between premature and in full-term infants (t=2.133,P=0.039;t=2.230,P=0.031);2)Cz lead,there were significant differences of the P2 and N2 wave area between premature and in full-term infants (t=2.107,P=0.041;t=2.179,P=0.035). Conclusion Cognitive functions such as voice perception and recognition of preterm infants (corrected gestational age) developed more solely than full-term infants of the same day age in the first week.

    Objective To understand the characteristics and treatment of chronic cough in children and provide clinical basis for standardized treatment of the disease in Fuzhou area of Fujian province. Methods According to the 2008 Guideline of the diagnosis and treatment of chronic cough in children,364 qualified cases were collected and completed follow-up in Department of Allergy of Fuzhou Children's Hospital.All data were statistical analyzed through SPSS 19.0 software. Results 1)In the qualified cases of chronic cough,the leading three etiologies were cough variant asthma (CVA,47.0%),upper airway cough syndrome (UACS,28.6%),and post-infection cough (PIC,15.9%).2)Clinical characteristics were analyzed in the etiologies of chronic cough:coughing fit time CVA at night (75.7%),UACS early in the morning (74.8%) and PIC during the day (80.4%),gastroesophageal reflux cough (GERC) at night (88.2%).3)The etiologies of chronic cough were treat with 3~4 kinds of drugs in the first visit 246 (67.58%),more than 5 kinds of drugs in the first visit 28 (7.69%)(χ2=416.894,P<0.001).4)The etiologies of chronic cough used drugs in the first visit and followed up for 3 months:CVA were given priority to antihistamines and leukotriene.UACS and PIC were given priority to antibiotic and antihistamines.GERC were given priority to promoting gastric dynamics medicine and Inhibiting gastric acid drugs. Conclusions 1)The etiologies of chronic cough have different characteristics,to guide the clinical diagnosis and treatment in the first visit according to its characteristics.2)The diversity of chronic cough medicine in Fuzhou was area related to the complexity of the etiologies of chronic cough,correcting diagnosis dynamically,the habits of using drug,etc.It reminded clinicians to attach great importance to the observation of cough therapeutic effect,regular follow-up,correcting diagnosis timely and adjusting the medication.

    Objective To investigate the hearing of preschool children in Zhuhai,and propose appropriate suggestions for child hearing care. Methods Cluster sampling method was applied to select 1 686 children aged 4~7 years from 13 kindergartens in Zhuhai.All the subject received intial hearing screening by protable audiometer.The children who failed the intial hearing screening received specialized examination by ENT doctor and secondary hearing screening.The children who failed the initial and secondary screening received diagnostic examination in the hearing examination center. Results Of 1 686 children,24 (10.2%) failed to pass audiological assessment in hearing examination center.In these 24 children,8(0.47%) had binaural hearing loss,2 were mild hearing loss,5 were moderate hearing loss,1 was severe hearing loss;16(0.95%) had single ear hearing loss.Analysis the cause of the hearing loss:13(54.17%)had otitis media;1(4.17%) was external auditory canal atresia;1 (4.17%) had totoxic drugs;1 (4.17%) had head injury;1 (4.17%) had vestibular aqueduct syndrome ;7(29.17%)didn't have clear cause. Conclusions The proportion of otitis media caused light and moderate hearing loss for preschoolers in Zhuhai is higher.Regular hearing care and active otitis media prevention and treatment are effective measures to reduce hearing loss.

    Objective To analyze the relationship between mental health of parents and therapy compliance for children with phenylketonuria(PKU) in Xi'an. Methods During January 2013 to August 2015,50 parents of PKU children were assessed with Symptom Checklist 90.They were diagnosed and treated in our hospital.Under the investigation on mental health of parents with PKU children,the factor scores were divided into group Ⅰ and Ⅱ.The normal people whose children were checked in child healthcare department were taken as control. Results The mental health levels of parents with PKU children were significantly lower than those of control group(P<0.01).The mental health levels of parents with PKU children in groupⅡwere significantly lower than those of groupⅠ (P<0.01).groupⅡ showed a good treatment compliance(χ2=9.717,P<0.01).Logistic regession analysis suggested that family income was risk factor of mental health of parents.Family income and educational levels were important factors of children's treatment compliance. Conclusion It is very necessary that throughing health education to psychological counseling for parents of PKU children,in order to alleviate the parents psychological pressure and improve the compliance for children.

    Objective To explore the infuencing factors of neonatal respiratory distress syndrome (NRDS) combined bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD),and to provide reference for prevention and treatment. Methods 200 cases of children with NRDS,were divided into BPD groups and non-BPD group depending on whether the merger bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD).Summarize clinical data of children,risk factors of BPD were analized using univariate analysis and Logistic multivariate analysis method. Results In 200 HMD children,a total of 48 children with BPD,the prevalence was 24.00%.With increasing gestational age,BPD prevalence declined.With the increase of birth weight,BPD prevalence declined.Univariate analysis showed that hospital stay,incidence of pulmonary hemorrhage,birth weight,gestational age,duration of mechanical ventilation,Apgar score was significantly different between BPD group and non-BDP group (P<0.05);multivariate analysis showed that gestational age,weight,pulmonary hemorrhage were risk factors of BPD (P<0.05). Conclusion The gestational age and weight are important risk factors for BPD,preventive measures should be given in clinical,and treatment of lung primary disease is important in preventing BPD.

    Objective To discuss the diagnostic value of soluble triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells-1 (sTREM-1) in identifying pediatric community-acquired pneumonia(CAP). Methods 60 cases of hospitalized children with pneumonia were selected(including 31 cases of bacterial pneumonia and 29 cases of non bacterial pneumonia),healthy children were recruited as controls.The serum level of sTREM-1,procalcitonin (PCT),C-reactive protein (CRP) and white blood cell count (WBC) count were detected and the changes of sTREM-1,PCT and CRP before and after the treatment in children with bacterial pneumonia were compared.The levels of sTREM-1,PCT,CRP were compared between severe pneumonia and non severe pneumonia. Results 1)sTREM-1 level in plasma of bacterial pneumonia group was higher than that in non-bacterial pneumonia group and normal control group [(36.36±8.88)μg/L vs.(16.86±1.83)μg/L,(16.27±1.97)μg/L (P<0.05)].There was no statistical significance between non-bacterial pneumonia group and normal control group (P>0.05).2)sTREM-1 level in plasma of severe pneumonia group was higher than that in non-severe pneumonia group [(61.18±13.72)μg/L vs.(33.97±9.21)μg/L(P<0.05)],sTREM-1 level in plasma of non-severe pneumonia group was higher than that in normal control group [(33.97±9.21)μg/L vs.(16.27±1.97)μg/L (P<0.05)].3) The levels of PCT,CRP and WBC in plasma of bacterial pneumonia group were higher than those in non-bacterial pneumonia group and normal control group (P<0.05);the levels of PCT,CRP and WBC in plasma of severe pneumonia group were higher than those in non-severe pneumonia group (P<0.05).4) After treatment,the level of sTREM-1 showed a continuous decline in bacterial pneumonia group [(36.36±8.88)μg/L vs (27.34±6.48)μg/L,(16.38±4.20)μg/L],the difference was significant (P<0.05).But the early decline in PCT and CRP were not obvious (third days vs.first days),there were no significant difference (P>0.05). Conclusion sTREM-1 is an important index in earlier period identification of bacterial pneumonia,it is of great meaning to guide the rational use of antibiotics,assess the condition and judge the curative effect.

    Objective To analyse the etiology and clinical outcome of infantile cholestasis. Method The clinical data were collected of 3 weeks years old to 3 months years old infants with cholestasis in our hospital from January 2011 to September 2015.The causes and clinical features of the disease were analyzed,and to track the clinical prognosis. Result Main cause of 1 360 cases with cholestasis were anatomic anomalies (316 cases,23.23%),infection (540 cases,39.70%),inborn errors of metabolism(145 cases,10.66%),unexplained (350 cases,25.74%),others (9 cases,0.66%).The three most common reason were cytomegalovirus infection (485 cases,35.66%),biliary atresia (301 cases,22.13%) and Citrin deficiency (96 cases,7.06%).1 193 cases (87.72%) were improved and discharged,166 cases (12.20%)were gived up treatment,and 1 case (0.07%) were dead. Conclusion The etiology of infantile cholestasis is complicated.Incidence of biliary atresia,cytomegalovirus,citrin deficiency in cholestatic jaundice is high,early etiology diagnosis is beneficial to improve the clinical outcome.

    Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics and pathogens and risk factors of fungal sepsis in preterm neonates and provide evidence for early diagnosis and treatment. Methods All preterm infants from May 2012 to May 2015 were selected.Pathogens and clinical features were observed and analyzed,and the outcomes were recorded. Results A total of 2 534 cases were admitted.Among the 23 infants diagnosed with positive blood,14 were very low birth weight (VLBW) infants and 5 were extremely low birth (ELBW) infants.Compared with the preterm infants without fungal sepsis,low birth weight,small gestational age,venous catheter and long-term parenteral nutrition were the risk factors.23 cases of fungal sepsis were due to Candidiasis,including 16 (69.6%) Candida parapsilosis,6 (26.1%) Candida albicans,1 (4.3%)Candida nameless.All of the Candidiasis were sensitive to Fluconazole. Conclusion VLBW/ELBW preterm infants are susceptible of fungal septicemia.Venous catheter and long-term parenteral nutrition are the risk factors.The full treatment course can improve the prognosis.

    Objective To investigate the condition of detection rate,prevalence and correlation with outdoor air pollutant concentration of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in hospitalized children with acute lower respiratory tract infection (ALRTI). Method The condition of positive rate and prevalence about RSV were analyzed in 5 465 children with ALRTI in Hebei Children's Hospital from April 2014 to March 2015.And the relationship was explored between RSV infection and air pollutant concentration while the real-time air quality monitoring data of Shijiazhuang in Hebei province was recorded. Results The positive cases of RSV was 1 517(27.76%).The air quality index (AQI),PM2.5 and PM10 were all at a higher level during our investigation.The hospitalized cases and RSV infection were positively raleated with the concentration of PM2.5,PM10 and SO2 in air.According regression equation,hospitalized cases had a closest relation,while RSV infection was most closely correlated. Conclusion The air pollution concentration rising may be a reason of acute lower respiratory tract infection and RSV infection in children.

    Objective To summarize and analyze the screening result,the treatment and the follow-up investigation of the congenital hypothyroidism (CH) of the newborn screening center of our hospital from 2012 to 2014. Methods Heel blood after the birth of 72 hours were collected and were maked into dried blood filter,then the level of the thyrotropic hormone (TSH) of dried blood spot on filter paper was detected by using the method of time-resolved fluorescence immunoassay.TSH>9 μU/ml,which was the positive sign.The patients who had the positive symptom were recalled and sampled the intravenous blood,and a definite diagnosis was made by using the chemiluminescence immunoassay to test the five items of thyroid function (TSH,T3,T4,FT3,FT4). Results For screening 131 066 cases,there were 62 cases made a definite diagnosis.The morbidity was 0.47‰.They were given replacement therapy by taking levothyrocine (L-T4) immediately.In 42 cases of follow-up investigation,there were normal thyroid function,with no difference on physical growth and intelligence comparing with the normal aged children. Conclusion Screening the newborn,normative hormone replacement therapy as soon as possible and long-term follow-up monitoring can make the CH children avoiding irreversible damage to the physique and intelligence,which is also of great significance to improve the prognosis and survival quality.

    Objective To detect the level of amino acids and acyl carnitine in Liuzhou area by tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS),and to understand the occurrence of genetic metabolic disease in children with high risk. Methods A total of 2 215 patients with high risk of hospitalization and outpatient service from January 2013 to December 2015 were selected,and their amino acids and carnitine levels were detected by tandem mass spectrometry.Screening positive children combined with clinical phenotype,further diagnosis was conducted by means of different detection analysis to determine the confirmed cases and follow-up treatment. Results In the 2 215 cases of high-risk infants,screening positive was 195 cases,accounting for 8.80%;the number of confirmed cases was 30(1.35%).Diagnosis of genetic metabolic disease in 14 of 30 children,of which the disease types of carnitine deficiency,Hitlin protein,and the main types of E-acid,and other types of diseases have emerged. Conclusion In the area of Liuzhou,inherited metabolic disease percentage and disease have certain incidence of Guangxi high risk infants,in the process of diagnosis and treatment of genetic in metabolic diseases high-risk infants,tandem mass spectrometry can be used as early screening and prevention in the community.

    Objective To evaluate the level of food cognition and the effectiveness of nutrition health education among primary school students in Guangzhou,and to provide support for improving their healthy diet and health condition. Methods A total of 1 608 senior students from 24 primary schools took part in the nutrition health education project for 8 weeks.The food cognition survey for all the subjects had been done before and after intervention. Result The accuracy rate of food cognition was 72.09% among primary school students in Guangzhou,and it increased significantly to 85.26% after the nutrition health education (χ2=82.584,P<0.05). Conclusion The level of food cognition among primary school students in Guangzhou is low due to some misunderstanding on it,and the nutrition health education can improve their accuracy rate of food cognition.
