Abstract: AIM: To observe the clinical effect of ginaton in treatment ofPatients with acute cerebral infarction.METHODS: 68 cases of acute cerebral infarction within 7 days of onset accepted three weeks ginaton therapy.20 ml of ginaton injection was added to 5% 250 ml glucose solution or 250ml normal saline solution for intravenous drip.RESULTS: Among 40 mild cases,the significant effective rate was 62.5%,and the score effective ratewas 95%.The neural function defective betweenPretreatment andPost-treatment showed a high significant difference(P<0.01).Among 23 middle cases,the significant effective rate was 39.1%,effective rate was 73.9%,and the neural function defective score betweenPre-treatment andPost-treatment showed significant difference(P<0.05).In 5 severe cases,1 case was significant effective,2 cases were effective,and the neural function defective score betweenPre-treatment andPosttreatment was no significant difference.The total effective rat was 85.3%.CONCLUSIONS: Ginaton injection is effective agent for treating acute cerebral infarction,especially mild cases.
