• Chinese Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics is a national academic monthly journal (ISSN 1009-2501, CN 34-1026/R) under the supervision of the China Association for Science and Technology, sponsored by the Chinese Pharmacological Society, and hosted by Yijishan Hospital of Wannan Medical College. It was founded in June 1996 by the renowned quantitative pharmacologist Professor Sun Ruiyuan. The current editor-in-chief is Professor Huang Zhili, a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and a distinguished professor at Fudan University.

   

  In 2001, the journal received special funding from the China Association for Science and Technology. In 2003, it was selected as a "Source Journal for Chinese Scientific and Technical Papers and Citations (Chinese Core Journal of Science and Technology)." In 2011, it was included in the Core Edition of the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD). Currently, it is recognized as a Peking University Core Chinese Journal, a CSCD Core Journal, and a Source Journal for Chinese Scientific and Technical Papers and Citations. It is also indexed by international databases such as Embase, Chemical Abstracts (CA), Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) Database, Index Copernicus (IC), Western Pacific Region Index Medicus (WPRIM), and Ulrich's Periodicals Directory.

   

  In 2016, the journal won the Excellence Award in the "Provincial Science and Technology Journal Editing and Quality Award" by the Anhui Science and Technology Journal Editors Association. From 2018 to 2022, it consecutively won the "Top 100 Excellent Papers in Chinese Medicine" award for five years. Between 2020 and 2022, it was repeatedly honored as an "Excellent Journal of Anhui Province" and an "Excellent Scientific Journal of Chinese Universities." In 2021, it received funding from the China Association for Science and Technology's National Society Journal Publication Capacity Improvement Program, and in 2022, it was supported by the Special Fund for the Construction of a Culturally Strong Province in Anhui. According to the "Chinese S&T Journal Citation Reports (Core Edition)" by the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China, the journal has an impact factor of 1.005, with 74% of its papers being funded research. Among 49 core journals in the field of pharmacy, it ranks 9th in overall core comprehensive evaluation.

   

  The journal accepts submissions in the fields of basic pharmacology, clinical pharmacology, and drug therapeutics for various clinical systems. It targets medical, research, and teaching professionals involved in new drug development, clinical pharmacology, and drug therapeutics research. The columns include Special Topics, Basic Research, Clinical Pharmacology, Quantitative Pharmacology, Drug Therapeutics, Reviews, and Lectures.
