Abstract: Tumor development involves multiple cell signaling pathways. The most important of them are nuclear factor-kappaB (NF-κB) pathway and mammalian target of rapamycin pathway (mTOR), which is the new target for cancer treatment of drug therapy. Further exploration on the cross-talk between these two signaling pathways and its effects on tumor biological characteristics might be useful to control the malignant behavior of tumor cells.
