Clinical evaluation on ulinastatin in treatment ofPatients with acutePan-creatitis

Abstract

Abstract: AIM: To observe clinical effects of uli-nastatin (UTI)in treatment ofPatients with acutePancre-atitis (AP).METHODS: 86Patients withAPwere ran-domly divided into two groups:UTI treatment grouP(46cases)and gabexate mesylate control grouP(40 cases).RESULTS: Total effective rate had a significant differ-ence between UTI grouP(82.6%)and control group(65.0 %)(P<0.05).Except from blood sugar,main clinical symptoms andlab indices after treatment wereless than that before treatment (P<0.05 orP<0.01)in two groups.The therapeutic effects in UTI grouPwere better than those in control grouP(P<0.05)for releas-ing abdominal distention,nausea and vomit,fever,pressPain on epigastric region,bouncePain,amylase,white blood cells and TB,etc.CONCLUSIONS: UTI is an enzyme inhibitor in treatment ofPatients with acutePan-creatitis.
