Abstract: AIM: To evaluate the cost-effectiveness of azithromycin,minocycline and fleroxacin in treatment ofPatients with nongonococcal urethritis.METHODS: 142 cases including A,B and C schemes were evaluated by cost-effectivenessPrinciple.A scheme:received azithromycin 0.5 g,po,qd×7,and the first dose doubled;B scheme:received minocycline 100 mg,po,bid×7 ;and C scheme:received fleroxacin 0.2 g,po,qd×7.RESULTS: The cost of A,B and C schemes were RMB 386.43,427.42 and 395.71 yuan,respectively,and the effective ratio were 98.21%,75.56% and 80.49%(χ²=12.07,P<0.01),respectively.CONCLUSION: A scheme is the best one.
