Abstract

Abstract: AIM: To develop a method to calculate sample size for related rate non-inferior trial.METHODS: Design SAS Macrore to calculate sample size for related rate in non-inferior trial by simulation.RESULTS: Two SAS MACROs are developed, one for power estimation and another for sample size calculation.CONCLUSION: Simulation is a good selection in sample size calculation while there is no formula can be used.
