Abstract: miRNAs are endogenous non-coding single-stranded small RNA molecule and are predicted to regulate 30% of all human genes by targeting mRNA sequences in their 3'UTR. As important post-transcriptional regulators, miRNAs play a positive role in various biological processes, including proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis, metabolism, and so on. Recent studies have indicated that miRNAs are associated with caner, cardiac disease, diabetes, Parkinson syndrome and multidrug resistance. Herein the article reviews the regulation on miRNAs to osteoporosis.
