Abstract: AIM: To investigate the changes of Penyankunhe liquor on the CPID rat model. METHODS: The model was established with injection of phenol mucilage.Two weeks later the rats were randomly divided into Penyankunhe liquor low dose group,medium dose group and high dose group(66,33,16.5 g/kg).After the rats were treated 14 days with corresponding medicine intragastric administration, the rats body weight, the ratio value of the rats womb were observed,the pathological of endometrium was used to evaluate the effects of Penyankunhe liquor.The cotent of SOD and MDA in serum were also detected. RESULTS: The rats body weight was decreased and the ratio value of the rats womb was increased significantly,and the levels of SOD in serum were reducted while the MDA content was increased significantly.It was also found that each dose of Penyankunhe liquor had different digrees of protection against the indicators change.The pathologic examination results also showed that the Penyankunhe liquor had certain improvement effect on the degree of endometrial inflammation. CONCLUSION: Penyankunhe liquor is effective in treating CPID in experimental rats.
