Research progress on the platelet P2Y12 receptor antagonists

Abstract

Abstract: Anti-platelet drugs are the essential drugs to treat the acute coronary syndromes. Among them,anti-platelet P₂Y₁₂ receptor antagonists have been the most active studying drugs to treat the patients with acute coronary syndromes. A series of drugs have been developed from basic studies to clinic studies. In this review, we discussed P₂Y₁₂ receptor antagonists including their mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics, clinical researches of the acute coronary syndromes and guidelines for clinical application to provide reference for rational drugs treatment.
