托育质量与儿童发展研究进展

Abstract: China has started the early childhood care and education (ECCE) services for children under three years old officially since 2019.Understanding the impact of ECCE on children′s health and development is important.Existing studies have showed the short- and long-term effect of ECCE quality on children′s development.This paper reviews the primary studies conducted in developed countries on this theme.A consistent research conclusion is drawn that high-quality ECCE can promote the cognitive and non-cognitive development of children,and the benefits could continue into adulthood,laying a good foundation to for the lifelong development of people.Higher quality of ECCE is beneficial to children′s physical and mental health,which induces more social and economic benefits.This review suggests that it is necessary to carry out childcare cohort study to clarify the short- and long-term of ECCE on child development in China.From the practical aspect,it indicates that the quality assessment for ECCE services is the first step to improve the entire quality of ECCE.

摘要: 2019年我国正式启动3岁以下婴幼儿照护服务体系的建设,了解托育服务对儿童健康与发展的影响具有重要意义。现有研究已明确早期照护和教育对儿童健康和发展具有长期和短期影响。本研究综述了发达国家开展的托育质量与儿童发展的队列研究,并梳理了主要的研究发现。较一致的研究结论为高质量的托育服务能有效促进儿童的认知能力和非认知能力的发展,并且这种益处可持续至成年期,为人的终生发展奠定良好基础。高质量托育服务通过促进儿童身心健康发展,增加了托育服务的社会和经济效益。提示从研究层面,应开展基于中国人群的托育服务效果评价的队列研究,检验托育服务对儿童发展的短长期影响。从实践层面应充分重视托育服务评估,致力于提高托育质量。
