Abstract: Aim The action of cyclosporin A (CSA) and verapamil (Ver) on psoriasis was studied. Method Mouse rail scale epithelium model and mouse vaginal epithelium model were set up. The effect of CSA and Ver on the number of mouse tail scale granule cell layer and the mitosis index of mouse vaginal epithelium were observed. Result CSA not only could increase the number of granul cell layer (P<0. 05), but also reduce the mitosis index and inhibit cell proliferation (P<0. 01). Ver only reduce the mitosis index and inhibit cell proliferation (P<0. 05). Conclusion CSA has effect on two psoriasis medels by controlling epithelium over-proliferation and making epithelium incomplete recutization ture to normal recutization, so it could interfere psoriasis well, but recutization while Ver only has effect on vaginal epithelium, showing that though Ver has therapeutic action, it also has toxin-side effect.
