Clinical evaluation of antitoxin cachet for coxsackie B myocarditis in treatment ofPatients with viral myocarditis

Abstract: AIM: To observe the clinical effects of antitoxin cachet for coxsackie B myocarditis(ACCM)in treatment ofPatients with viral myocarditis(VM).METHODS: 120Patients with VM were randomly divided into two groups:ACCM treatment grouP(60 cases)and western medicine control grouP(60 cases).RESULTS: There was a significant difference of total effective rate between ACCM grouP(85%)and control group(57%)(P<0.05).After treatment,the therapeutic effects in ACCM grouPwere better than those in control grouPfor repeated cold,palpitation,chest smother,chestache,hard breathe,lackPower and dizzy,etc.CONCLUSIONS: ACCM is a chinese herbal medicinePreparation of high effect,cheaPand easy use in treatment ofPatients with viral myocarditis.
