Abstract: Low-density lipoproteins are hererogeneous in terms of size and density. The presence of sLDL is associated with raised triglyceride and may be a risk marker for coronary artery disease.Small dense LDL particles have been proved to be more atherogenic than large LDL particles.Antioxidant content of sLDL decresed in comparson with large and buoyant LDL, can enhance the expression of cell adhesion molecules. This property may be proposed to contribute to increase disease risk of atherogenic.
