High glucose and diabetic nephropathy

Abstract: Diabetic nephropathy is a sever microvascular complication of diabetes mellitus.Through the pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy is unclear,the main manifestation of diabetes mellitus is the high level of blood glucose,andmore attention is paid to the relationshipbetween high glucose and diabetic nephropathy.It has been found in recent years that the tissues of kidney can be injured directly by high glucose,and also by producing over advanced glycation endproducts which activate the polyol pathway,increasing oxidative stress,and decreasing the activation of matrix matallo-proteinases.
