Clinical study on relieving cough, expectoration and reducing lung infection after inhalating oxygen atomization

Abstract: AIM: To research the effect of oxygen atomization for postoperative cough, expectoration and alleviate the lung infection, and to provide reference for recovery treatment.METHODS: 104 patients with cough were randomly divided into two groups (n=52)in our hospital within one year.The study group was received oxygen atomization treatment,and the control group was received ultrasonic nebulization .RESULTS: The recovery of study group of patients' cough, expectoration and alleviate lung infection recovery were better and faster than those of control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).At the same time, the complication in study group was less than that of control group (P<0.05).CONCLUSION: Oxygen atomization helps to protect patients' respiratory tract with postoperative.It helps patients sputum expectoration, and also relieves cough and reduces the incisional pain for patients, and it is worthy of popularization and application in clinic.
