Research progress in the correlation between attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and obesity in children

Abstract

Abstract: Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder(ADHD) is a common neurodevelopmental disorder in childhood, and has become an increasingly serious public health problem along with obesity. In recent years, a large number of studies have shown a broad correlation between ADHD and obesity. This article aims to comprehensively review the relationship between ADHD and obesity in children, so as to promote the understanding and standardized management of ADHD children comorbid with obesity, and to propose the direction of further research.

摘要： 注意缺陷多动障碍(ADHD)是儿童期常见的一种神经发育障碍,与肥胖同为日益严重的公共卫生问题。近年来,大量研究表明ADHD和肥胖之间存在着广泛的相关性。本文旨在全面综述儿童ADHD与肥胖的关系,以促进对ADHD共患肥胖儿童的认识及规范管理,并提出未来研究的方向。
