Abstract: Intrauterine growth restriction(IUGR) refers to the fact that fetal development in the uterus does not reach its growth potential due to genetic or environmental factors. IUGR is not only associated with peripartum asphyxia,hypothermia,hypoglycemia and other diseases,but also can affect the long-term development of the nervous system,resulting in cognitive developmental disorders,behavioral problems. This article reviews the mechanism that IUGR may impair cognitive development in terms of fetal circulatory redistribution,brain volume and structure,brain metabolism,and epigenetic inheritance,in order to provide basis for revealing and intervening cognitive impairment caused by IUGR.

摘要: 胎儿宫内生长受限(IUGR)是指由于遗传或环境因素,胎儿在宫内的发育未达到其生长潜能。IUGR不仅与围生期窒息、低体温、低血糖等疾病相关,也可影响远期的神经系统发育,造成认知发育障碍、行为问题等。本文从胎儿循坏再分配、大脑容量及结构、大脑代谢、表观遗传四个方面综述了IUGR可能损害认知发育的机制,为揭示和干预IUGR导致的认知障碍提供依据。
