Abstract: Sirt1 is a member of silent information regulator (Sir2) family, which is a class III histone NAD+ - dependent deacetylase playing a pivotal role in the cell survival, apoptosis, tumor development, metabolic diseases and anti-aging.MicroRNA (miRNA) is a short,no encoding,single-stranded RNA that exists in eukaryotic organisms. Recent studies show that miRNA can regulate the expression of Sirt1 at the post-transcriptional level. Therefore, miRNA may become a new target in the treatment of many diseases, which has been the focus of researchers.
