Progress the in etiology and treatment of panic disorder

Abstract

Abstract: Panic disorder is one of the clinical common mental disorder which impairs the quality of patients'life. Its pathogenesis has not yet been fully understood, and the treatment has not been fully developed. This article reviews the advancement of etiology and therapy. The pathogenesis of this disorder is correlated with biological, psychological and social factors. The main treatments are pharmacotherapy, cognitive behavior therapy and combined therapy.
