Abstract: AIM: To observe the protective effects of Yiqihuoxuechengqi Mixture on intestinal epithelium mucosae in incomplete intestinal obstructive rat model. METHODS: The 1/2 terminal ileum of rat was ligated as incomplete intestinal obstruction.The rats were administrated by gastric perfusion.The general status, intake, urination and defecation during the experiment courses were observed.The histological mucosal damage of small intestine was assessed.The change of D (-) -lactic acid in plasma after 72 hours was detected. RESULTS: The hyperemia, edema, exudation of the intestinal epithelium mucosae were relieved in the middle or high dose of Yiqihuoxuechengqi Mixture groups, and the contents of D (-) -lactic acid in plasma were decreased compared with model group (P<0.05). CONCLUSION: Yiqihuoxuechengqi Mixture has the synergistic effect with Dachengqitang Decoction in improving intestinal epithelium mucosae effect.Yiqihuoxuechengqi Mixture can protect intestinal epithelium mucosae with incomplete obstructive injury.
