Research progress on mechanism of let-7 expression regulation

Abstract: MicroRNA let-7 regulates stem cell differentiation and normal development, as well act as tumor suppressor. Current studies found it is regulated by Lin28, histone demethylase, miR-107 and NF90-NF45 complex at transcriptional and post-transcriptional level. Furthermore, there are lin28 dependent and -independent regulatory circuits to modulate the expression level of let-7. Here is to make a review on regulation of let-7 expression.
