Abstract: The circadian rhythm regulates many physiological processes of the human body. The circadian rhythm sleep-wake disorder refers to a type of disease caused by the mismatch of sleep-wake cycle and circadian rhythm. It affects the human body's cognitive function and metabolic processes. The circadian rhythm sleep-wake disorder also promotes the growth of malignant tumors, directly and indirectly,  by changing the expression of clock genes and inhibiting the secretion of melatonin. This article discusses circadian rhythm sleep-wake disorders; the subgroups it includes, the pathological state it causes, and the relationship between it and the development of malignant tumor. We hope to provide possible treatment measures for tumors affected by circadian sleep-wake disorders.
